SIFT is an ambient instrument made of a living field of small windows, drifting and breathing on their own — colored by real weather moving over the places its live animal cameras watch: aquariums, zoos and wild habitats around the world. Underneath, real street recordings gathered in cities across Africa and Europe play raw beneath a synth pad that tunes itself to whatever you play, and closing a circle gathers the field toward whatever that live audio and weather are shaping in the moment. No score, no timer — just an instrument to sit inside and explore.
running slow? try half density below, or leave live camera photos off — both are quick to flip and this still fully holds together either way. live photos are real animal webcams — whale sharks, belugas, penguins, otters, bears, lemurs — on at the start; switch them off any time if it runs slow.
